S106 and CIL negotiations
A Local Planning Authority may require S106 contributions to make a development acceptable. We will assess the requests and determine whether they are justified under the terms of the Community Infrastructure Levy regulations. Such contributions might also render a development unviable and we can negotiate on your behalf to reduce contributions if there is sufficient justification.
The Community Infrastructure Levy is sought in many Local Planning Authorities. We can advise you on the likely implications for your development and whether you may be able to seek an exemption from making payment. We can complete the multitude of forms required to ensure you are compliant with the regulations. It is important to recognise that punitive penalties, charges or criminal convictions can result if the correct notices are not served at the correct points. We can lead you through this process and ensure that you do not fall foul of the regulations.
